Baseball Recap: Southwest Takes a Loss

Southwest was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They took a 7-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Jefferson County Warriors.

Southwest's loss dropped their record down to 3-15. As for Jefferson County, their victory bumped their record up to 7-13.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Southwest will take on Rutland at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Jefferson County, they will square off against Northeast at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Raiders have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 10.3 runs per game on average), something the Warriors will no doubt try to take advantage of.
