Basketball Recap: Del Oro Suns vs. Yosemite Badgers
After flying high against California City on Friday, Del Oro came back down to earth. The Del Oro Suns came up short against the Yosemite Badgers on Saturday, falling 46-21.
Yosemite's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jadyn Johnson led the charge by dropping a double-double on 12 points and 11 rebounds. What's more, Johnson also racked up three blocks, the most she's had since back in February of 2024. Another player making a difference was Alyson Espinoza, who went 5 of 9 en route to 11 points and six rebounds.
