Softball Recap: Hampton-Dumont/CAL Takes a Loss

Hampton-Dumont/CAL managed to slip by Algona the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. Hampton-Dumont/CAL lost 12-2 to Algona on Monday. Hampton-Dumont/CAL was not able to repeat the success they had when they faced Algona earlier this season, when they won 6-4.

Hampton-Dumont/CAL has also been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last 11 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-13 record this season. As for Algona, they have been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 13 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-6 record this season.

Hampton-Dumont/CAL didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Clear Lake on the 8th. As for Algona, they have also already played their next game, a 10-2 victory against Spencer on the 8th.
