Osage City got themselves on the board against West Franklin on Friday, but West Franklin never followed suit. They blew past the Falcons 74-0. Fans of the Indians have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 20+ points.

Kasen Parsons was his usual excellent self, throwing for 184 yards and four touchdowns while completing 85.7% of his passes, and also rushing for 49 yards and one score. What's more, he racked up 165.2 passer rating, the most he's had since back in October of 2024. Another player making a difference was Quenten Stark, who picked up 88 receiving yards and a pair of TDs.

Osage City's run defense was locked in: West Franklin could only muster 1.7 yards per carry. The team can thank Kolby Fagan for the heroic effort on defense: he. Osage City didn't have any issues in that department, having averaged 13.4.

The victory keeps Osage City at an undefeated 4-0. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 55.8 points this season. As for West Franklin, their loss dropped their record down to 0-4.

Looking ahead, Osage City will square off against Council Grove at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Indians 11.8, the Braves 10) so any points scored will be well earned. As for West Franklin, they are taking a road trip to square off against Central Heights at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Falcons will be up against the Vikings' rather soft defense (which has allowed 29 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
