2023 MaxPreps High School Football Freshman All-America Team

Trent Seaborn, Ethan Feaster, Richard Wesley headline list of 51 players selected from Class of 2027.

Each year since 2006, MaxPreps has recognized the nation's top high school football players. Past members of the MaxPreps Freshman All-America Team include Leonard Fournette (2010), Christian Kirk (2011), Nick Bosa (2012), D'Andre Swift (2013), Micah Parsons (2014), James Cook (2015), Jase McClellan (2016), Shedeur Sanders (2017), Luther Burden (2018) and Arch Manning (2019).

National Freshman of the Year selection Trent Seaborn of Thompson (Alabaster, Ala.) headlines the 2023 MaxPreps Freshman All-America Team. Seaborn led the Warriors to an 11-2 record and the Class 7A state championship game. He finished the year with over 2,500 yards passing and 27 touchdowns while completing 72 percent of his passes.

Selections are based on team success, individual production and local, regional and state honors from recently-completed season. Potential at the college level and professional level is not a primary consideration.
