Baseball Recap: Shiloh Takes a Loss

Shiloh was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They came up short against the Woodward Academy War Eagles, falling 14-0. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the War Eagles this season, with their most recent loss being a 15-0 defeat last Wednesday.

Shiloh's loss dropped their record down to 5-13. As for Woodward Academy, they pushed their record up to 14-1 with the win, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Shiloh will take on Decatur at 5:55 p.m. on Monday. Shiloh will need to watch out since Decatur has now posted at least ten runs in their last four games. As for Woodward Academy, they will challenge Dunwoody at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Dunwoody will roll in looking for their 18th straight victory, something Woodward Academy surely won't give up without a fight.
