Alburnett had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7 runs) and they went ahead and made it five on Monday. Everything went their way against the Springville Orioles as they made off with a 9-3 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 10-4 on Monday.

Alburnett pushed their record up to 19-7 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.0 runs over those games. As for Springville, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 12-12.

Alburnett wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 10-1 win against Vinton-Shellsburg on the 24th. As for Springville, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Marquette at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
