Softball Recap: Fitzgerald Comes Up Short

Fitzgerald was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 10-0 to the Crisp County Cougars. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cougars this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 17-1 back in August.

Fitzgerald's loss dropped their record down to 3-25. As for Crisp County, their victory ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-11.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Fitzgerald will welcome Irwin County at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Crisp County, they will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Worth County at 6:00 p.m.
