Truckee came tearing into Wednesday's game with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 2 goals), and they left with even more momentum. They were the clear victors by a 6-0 margin over the Fernley Vaqueros. Truckee might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three matchups by four goals or more this season.

They hit Fernley with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Macee Abraham (3), Liliana Lopez, Ramsey Teneyck, and Ayla Valle.

Truckee's victory bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Fernley, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-5.

Coincidentally, Truckee and Fernley will both be playing North Tahoe the next time they take the pitch. The Wolverines will host the Lakers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Vaqueros will head out to face them at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
