Recap: Masterman vs. Constitution Generals
Masterman put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They really took it to Constitution for the full four quarters, racking up a 57-24 victory on the road. Masterman might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team's won six contests by 22 points or more this season.
It was another big night for Jocelyn Goldstein, who scored 27 points along with six rebounds and five blocks. That makes it eight consecutive games in which she has scored at least 25% of Masterman's points. Sophia Brunelli was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.
Masterman's victory bumped their record up to 8-0. As for Constitution, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-6.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Masterman will take on Kensington at 3:15 p.m. on January 8th. The pair have allowed few points on average, (Kensington: 28.2, Masterman: 26.1) so any points scored will be well earned. As for Constitution, they will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against George Washington at 3:00 p.m. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Pennsylvania (George Washington is ranked 502nd, while Constitution is ranked 515th).
