Minneapolis's game  last Friday was a  loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them  on Friday. They put the hurt on the Norton Bluejays with a sharp  28-7 win. For the Lions, this counts as revenge for the   35-14 victory the Bluejays walked away with the last time they faced one another  back in September of 2024.
 Despite the loss, Norton still got an impressive performance from   Tyler Backman, who rushed for 89 yards and one  score on only 12 carries, and also picked up 36 receiving yards.
The  win  got Minneapolis back to even at 2-2. As for Norton, their defeat was  their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which  dropped their record down to 0-4.
 Looking ahead, Minneapolis will venture away from home to  challenge Halstead  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. As for Norton, they will host Beloit  on Friday. The Bluejays will be up against the Trojans' rather soft defense (which has allowed 31.25  points per  contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
