Soccer Recap: Bloom Takes a Loss

Bloom's game on Saturday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell 2-0 to the Thornton Wildcats. Bloom fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against Thornton since Saturday.

This is the second loss in a row for Bloom and nudges their season record down to 7-9. As for Thornton, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 9-6-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Bloom will challenge rival Rich Township at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Thornton is set to take on their familiar foe Crete-Monee at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
