South Iredell was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They took a 54-46 hit to the loss column at the hands of the West Cabarrus Wolverines. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Vikings this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 60-49 back in December of 2024.

South Iredell's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ryder Block, who went 10 for 18 on his way to 21 points and seven boards. That's the most points Block has posted since back in November of 2024. Another player making a difference was Tyrin Mann, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 11 rebounds.
