Softball Recap: Southmoore Snaps Four-Game Streak of Wins on the Road

Southmoore suffered their closest defeat since September 13, 2024 on Friday. They fell just short of the Pryor Tigers by a score of 7-5. The SaberCats were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Tigers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in August of 2023.

Southmoore's defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 6-6. As for Pryor, the win keeps them at an undefeated 9-0.

Coming up, Southmoore will head out to square off against Putnam City at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Pryor, they will host Red Oak at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Eagles' pitching crew has only allowed 2.7 runs per game this season, so the Tigers' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
