Basketball Recap: North Central's Win on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Three

North Central had won two straight games and Mya Lewis did her part to make it three on Tuesday. The North Central Knights put the hurt on the Plainview Pirates with a sharp 57-37 win thanks to Lewis, who dropped a triple-double with 27 points, 12 boards, and ten steals. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 8.1 rebounds per game.

Another player making a difference was Bridget Lewis, who posted a point along with 11 assists, seven boards, and three steals. Those 11 assists gave her a new career-high.

Riley Miller and Avery Hardisty certainly did their best on Tuesday to avoid the loss. Miller put up eight points and seven rebounds, while Hardisty scored 12 points.

North Central's victory bumped their record up to 13-11. As for Plainview, they dropped their record down to 3-20 with the loss, which was their 11th straight on the road.

Looking ahead, North Central will be playing in front of their home fans against Neligh-Oakdale at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. North Central has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. Plainview does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
