Windsor faced Eaglecrest in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Wizards came out on top against the Raptors by a score of 6-3. The win was familiar territory for the Wizards, who have now won seven matches in a row.

Jenna McGinnis spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three runs (all of which were unearned) on five hits and racked up ten Ks. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than one earned run any time she's pitched this season.

At the plate, Izzy Eisenmann was excellent, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two RBI, one run, and one double. That double was her first of the season. Another player making a difference was Maizie Maga?a, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Windsor's victory bumped their record up to 9-1. As for Eaglecrest, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 6-2.

Looking ahead, Windsor will take on Fort Collins at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Eaglecrest, they will welcome Golden at 5:15 p.m. on Friday. The Raptors' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Demons have averaged an impressive 9.7 runs per game this season.
