Softball Recap: Kingston Snags Seventh Win in Last Nine Games

Kingston's game last Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They walked away with a 10-6 win over the Chickasha Fighting Chicks. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Redskins considering their one-run performance the game before.

Kate Ratzlaff was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one double. Those three hits gave her a new career-high. Khloe Hall was another key player, going 2-for-3 with four RBI and one double.

Kingston is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.6 runs on average over those games. As for Chickasha, their loss dropped their record down to 7-10.

Coming up, Kingston is taking a road trip to face off against Yukon at 11:45 a.m. on Friday. As for Chickasha, they will welcome Ninnekah at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
