After a string of six wins, Freedom Christian Academy's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They took an 8-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the High Point Christian Academy Cougars.

Freedom Christian Academy saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Victoria Bryant, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, two RBI, and one double.

Freedom Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 22-3. As for High Point Christian Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 13 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-4 record this season.

While Freedom Christian Academy had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
