The Yellowjackets' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Meanwhile, Berrien waltzed into their game on Saturday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 4-3 W against the Panthers.

Jeff Davis' victory bumped their record up to 3-6. As for Berrien, they now have a winning record of 5-4.

Jeff Davis got the 'W' in their previous matchup back in March of 2025 against Berrien by a conclusive 10-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Yellowjackets since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
