Football Recap: Winfield Vikings vs. McPherson Bullpups
Winfield lost against McPherson back in September of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The game between the Vikings and the Bullpups didn't end well, with the Vikings falling 46-27. On the bright side, the 27- point performance marked the Vikings' highest-scoring contest to date.
Loss or not, Winfield got some senior leadership from Evan Hutto and Kellen Gibson. Hutto picked up 275 receiving yards and one score, while Gibson threw for 345 yards and a pair of TDs while picking up 14.4 yards per attempt.
