Basketball Recap: Berkeley Takes a Loss

Berkeley lost against Pittsburg back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Yellowjackets took a hard 45-31 fall against the Pirates.

Yariah Asidanya had another great game (as she tends to do), dropping a triple-double with 14 points, 12 boards, and 12 steals for Pittsburg. With that strong performance, Asidanya is now averaging an impressive 8.8 rebounds per game. Another player making a difference was Ari'Ana Flowers, who posted 17 points.

Berkeley's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Pittsburg, the win keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Coming up, Berkeley will face off against Elite at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Pittsburg, they will square off against Northgate at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
