Greeley West's game on Saturday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Poudre Impalas a 17-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Spartans, who have now won four games by eight runs or more so far this season.

Greeley West's victory bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Poudre, their defeat was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-4.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Greeley West is set to take on their familiar foe Fossil Ridge at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Poudre will face off against rival Windsor at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday.
