Softball Recap: Cass County Central Comes Up Short

Cass County Central was the 14-1 winner over Wilber-Clatonia when they last played one another back in September of 2017, but their luck changed this time around. The Crush took a 4-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wolverines on Saturday. The Crush have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Cass County Central's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Wilber-Clatonia, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.

Cass County Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Wilber-Clatonia, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 16-3 defeat against Standing Bear on the 23rd.
