There's no place like home for Hartford, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They blew past the Missisquoi Valley Thunderbirds 3-0 on Monday. The Hurricanes haven't had any issues with the Thunderbirds recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Hartford took every set by at least 11 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-12, 25-14.

Hartford's victory bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Missisquoi Valley, their record is now 0-10.
