Basketball Recap: Cardinal Gibbons Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Cardinal Gibbons had lost five straight on the road dating back to last season, but on Thursday they dropped down to 1-3 to make it six. They fell 66-60 to the Panther Creek Catamounts. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Crusaders of the 56-43 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in November of 2022.

As for Panther Creek, they now have a winning record of 3-2. Their offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Panther Creek to victory, but perhaps none more so than Sasha Boddie, who dropped a double-double with 14 points and ten boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Wynne Kinahan, who shot 86% from the field to rack up 14 points and three steals.

Coincidentally, Cardinal Gibbons and Panther Creek will both be playing Green Level the next time they take the court. The Catamounts will host the Gators at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Crusaders will host them at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
