Soccer Recap: Kalida Triumphs

The Kalida Wildcats beat the Ada Bulldogs 3-1 on Tuesday. Zach Unverferth had to tread lightly for part of the match after he was hit with a yellow card, but that was the only trouble Kalida got from the refs.

Kalida hit Ada with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Logan Kerner, Cody Recker, and Jax Horstman.

Kalida's victory bumped their record up to 8-2-4. As for Ada, their loss dropped their record down to 8-4-2.

Coming up, Kalida will venture away from home to take on Ottoville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Ottoville's defense has only allowed 0.5 goals per game this season, so Kalida's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Ada, they will look to defend their home pitch on Thursday against Cory-Rawson at 5:30 p.m.
