Waterford's loss ends three-game winning streak at home

Recap: Waterford Wildcats vs. Mariposa County Grizzlies

The Waterford Wildcats lost against the Mariposa County Grizzlies back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Waterford took a 43-26 bruising from Mariposa County.

Despite the loss, Waterford still got an impressive performance from Sadie Boone, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 11 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Thalia Reyes, who scored four points along with six steals.

Waterford's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-14. As for Mariposa County, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 12 matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 11-10 record this season.

Waterford does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Mariposa County will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against Le Grand at 6:00 p.m. on February 8th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in California (Mariposa County is ranked 1100th, while Le Grand is ranked 1075th).
