Soccer Game Preview: Columbia vs. Salem

The Columbia Eagles will take on the Salem Seminoles at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Columbia's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for four straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Columbia fell victim to South Atlanta and their airtight defense on Tuesday. They lost 9-0 to the Hornets.

Meanwhile, Salem was not the first on the board last Tuesday, but they got there more often. They beat Redan by a goal, winning 3-2. The Seminoles haven't had any issues with the Raiders recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Joshua Kabwe and Sergio Bravo scored all three of Salem's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

Salem's win bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Columbia, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-4.
