Volleyball Recap: Freeman Takes a Loss + How To Watch

The Freeman Golden Eagles didn't have quite enough to beat the Van Vleck Leopards on Tuesday and fell 3-2. The Golden Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Freeman took Van Vleck into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking two-point loss. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-17, 25-27, 20-25, 16-14.

Freeman's offense was headlined by Chelsea Wasira and Zelma Patrick, who picked up five kills apiece. They got some help from Georgia Walker and her nine assists. Yasmin Martins controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Freeman's defeat dropped their record down to 5-14. As for Van Vleck, their win bumped their record up to 9-7.

Freeman has already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Huntsville on the 28th. As for Van Vleck, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Sweeny on the 28th.
