Soccer Recap: Jersey Takes a Loss

Jersey fought the good fight in their overtime match against Highland on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Bulldogs by a score of 2-1. Having soared to a lofty five goals in the game before, Jersey couldn't push the score so high this time.

Their goal came courtesy of Bradley Tueth, who's now up to 16 this season.

Jersey's defeat dropped their record down to 6-12-1. As for Highland, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 19-5.

Looking ahead, Jersey will be playing at home against Triad at 5:45 p.m. on Thursday. As for Highland, they will challenge Waterloo at 5:45 p.m. on Thursday. Highland's defense better be ready for this one: Waterloo has averaged an impressive 2.7 goals per game this season.
