Middle College is 9-0-1 against Animo South Los Angeles since December of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Wednesday. A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Middle College duke it out with the Animo South Los Angeles at 4:00 p.m. Middle College's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Middle College fell victim to Larchmont Charter and their airtight defense on Friday. They lost 7-0 to the Timberwolves.

Meanwhile, Animo South Los Angeles kept a clean sheet against Math & Science College Preparatory on Friday. They won by a goal and slipped past the Sharks 1-0. Heidy Avila had the honor of scoring the game-winner for the Panthers.

The win made it two in a row for Animo South Los Angeles and bumps their season record up to 6-4. As for Middle College, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-7.

Middle College took their victory against Animo South Los Angeles in their previous meeting back in January by a conclusive 3-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for Middle College since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
