Softball Recap: Kennesaw Mountain Comes Up Short

Kennesaw Mountain was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 14-7 to the South Paulding Spartans. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Spartans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 8-2 on September 4th.

Kennesaw Mountain's loss dropped their record down to 5-15. As for South Paulding, they pushed their record up to 12-9 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home.

Looking ahead, Kennesaw Mountain will host Whitefield Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for South Paulding, they will venture away from home to face off against East Paulding at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Spartans' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Raiders have averaged an impressive 6.7 runs per game this season.
