You can't lose the game if you win every quarter, and that was precisely Freedom's strategy against Amador Valley on Saturday. The Freedom Falcons put the hurt on the Amador Valley Dons with a sharp 53-31 win. The Falcons have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven games by 20 points or more this season.

Freedom's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Ariel De La O led the charge by dropping a double-double on 19 points and 12 rebounds. That's the most rebounds De La O has posted since back in January of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Anisa Blalock, who posted 15 points and seven rebounds.

Freedom smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 23 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive boards they've managed all season.

Freedom has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.5 points per game. As for Amador Valley, they moved to 6-8 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Freedom will challenge Liberty at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The timing is sure in Freedom's favor as the team sits on seven straight wins at home (dating back to last season) while Liberty has been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road. As for Amador Valley, they will take on California at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
