Baseball Game Preview: Wilcox County Patriots vs. Berrien Rebels

The Wilcox County Patriots will head out to square off against the Berrien Rebels at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Wilcox County will be strutting in after a win while Berrien will be coming in after a defeat.

On Friday, Wilcox County earned an 8-3 victory over Schley County. The win continues a trend for the Patriots in their matchups with the Wildcats: they've now won three in a row.

Meanwhile, Berrien was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss dating back to last season. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of Atkinson County. That's two games in a row now that Berrien has lost by just one run.

Berrien's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Wilcox County, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.
