Basketball Game Preview: La Sierra Academy Knights vs. United Christian Academy Eagles

While losing is never fun, United Christian Academy can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 330th, while Chaminade is ranked 93rd).

La Sierra Academy will have to keep a close watch on Natalie Estrada and Gigi Marquez, a pair of players who had a big impact on United Christian Academy's prior game. Estrada posted 12 points, while Marquez had eight points.

La Sierra Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for United Christian Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 20-6.

La Sierra Academy took a serious blow against United Christian Academy in their previous meeting back in January, falling 82-12. That matchup was all but decided by halftime, at which point La Sierra Academy was down 41-8.
