Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Northview walked away with it. They never let the Jay Royals get on the board and left with a 6-0 win on Tuesday. Winning may never get old, but the Chiefs sure are getting used to it with their ninth in a row.
Not much got past Mikayla McAnally, who gave up just a hit and racked up ten Ks to keep Jay off the board. McAnally has been consistent: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in seven consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Addysen Bolen, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI and one run. Another player making a difference was Daviona Randolph, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.
Northview's record is now 20-5. As for Jay, they now have a losing record of 12-13.
As of now, neither Northview nor the Royals have any future games scheduled.
