Soccer Recap: Hillgrove Comes Up Short

Hillgrove and Grayson squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Hillgrove had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Rams by a score of 1-0. The game was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but Hillgrove couldn't quite close it out.

This is the second loss in a row for Hillgrove and nudges their season record down to 8-8. As for Grayson, they pushed their record up to 17-1 with the win, which was their ninth straight at home.

Hillgrove does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Grayson, they will welcome Meadowcreek at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meadowcreek will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Grayson surely won't give up without a fight.
