Baseball Game Preview: Duluth Wildcats vs. Brookwood Broncos

The Duluth Wildcats will head out on the road to square off against the Brookwood Broncos at 5:55 p.m. on Monday.

Duluth is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 15 runs on Wednesday, they were much more limited against Brookwood on Friday. They came up short against the Broncos, falling 12-2.

For Brookwood's part, Michael Heath looked comfortable as he struck out six batters over four innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off five hits (and only one walk).

At the plate, Max Rogozinski was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing Two bases. while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in February. Another player making a difference was Alex Reyes, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with one home run and three runs.

Brookwood lost a few balls and finished the game with three home runs. That's the most home runs they've managed all season.

Brookwood now has a winning record of 8-7. As for Duluth, they now have a losing record of 6-7.
