Basketball Recap: Mount Calvary Christian Comes Up Short

Mount Calvary Christian suffered their biggest loss since January 2, 2024 on Friday. They were outmatched by the Linville Hill Warriors and fell 54-27. The Chargers haven't had much luck with the Warriors recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Ellie Rishel had a dynamite game for Linville Hill, dropping a double-double with 14 points and 12 boards. Another player making a difference was Leah Kurtz, who made all 5 shots she took to post 12 points.

Mount Calvary Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 21-4. As for Linville Hill, they are on a roll lately: they've won 14 of their last 15 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 21-2 record this season.
