After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Lincoln Southwest, Marian was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Omaha South Packers as they made off with a 10-2 win. That's more bragging rights for the Crusaders, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Adele Tompsett was incredible, going a perfect 2-for-2 with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base. Lily Burns was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Marian kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. They are 4-1 when they post 11 or more hits.

Marian has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-14 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.5 runs over those games.
