Baseball Recap: Lee Academy Pandas vs. Penquis Valley Patriots
Lee Academy had lost five straight on the road, but on Thursday they dropped down to 4-9 to make it six. They fell just short of the Penquis Valley Patriots by a score of 14-13. The Pandas were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Patriots earlier this season, when they won 7-6.
Austen Jipson put in work no matter where he played. On the mound, he struck out seven batters over 4.2 innings while giving up just one earned (and 12 unearned) runs off six hits.
