Football Recap: Western Tech & Environmental Science Comes Up Short on the Road Against Chesapeake + How To Watch

Western Tech & Environmental Science had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They lost to the Chesapeake Bay Hawks on the road by a 24-8 margin on Saturday. The Wolverines were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bay Hawks apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in November of 2024.

Chris Johnson Jr was a one-man wrecking crew For Chesapeake. as he rushed for 138 yards and one touchdown on only five carries. Johnson Jr showed off some serious burst, turning on the afterburners on one carry for 50 yards.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Western Tech & Environmental Science will venture away from home to face off against Loch Raven at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. The game will give the Wolverines their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Chesapeake, they are packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game of the season: they will challenge Woodlawn at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
