Recap: Lompoc Braves vs. Atascadero Greyhounds
The Lompoc Braves's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their fourth straight loss. They took a 46-33 hit to the loss column at the hands of Atascadero. That's two games in a row now that Lompoc has lost by exactly 13 points.
Despite the defeat, Lompoc had strong showings from Tara Terrones, who scored eight points along with six steals and five assists, and Ava Gallegos, who scored seven points along with eight steals. Jalisa Dixon was another key contributor, scoring three points along with seven rebounds.
Lompoc dropped their record down to 5-18 with that defeat, which was their ninth straight on the road. As for Atascadero, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 8-15.
Lompoc didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 47-36 victory vs. Templeton on the 9th. Atascadero has also already played their next match, a 49-46 win against Pioneer Valley on the 9th.
