Bloomingdale had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They never let the Dwyer Panthers get on the board and left with an 18-0 win on Thursday. The result was nothing new for the Bulls, who have now won 13 games by seven runs or more so far this season.
Natalie Cable was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out nine over four innings pitched. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in 17 consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. That's the most runs she has posted since back in February.
In other batting news, Marley Boucher was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, six RBI, and two runs. Those six RBI gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Sofia-Lynn Becker, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs and two RBI.
