St. Andrew waltzed into their matchup on Friday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They came out on top against the Westminster Schools of Augusta Wildcats by a score of 2-0.

St. Andrew's never let Westminster Schools of Augusta on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-24, 25-21.

Makenna Riley paced St. Andrew's offense, picking up 12 kills. Riley got some help from Grace Dare and her 21 assists. Dare was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

St. Andrew's victory bumped their record up to 16-10. As for Westminster Schools of Augusta, the loss snapped their winning streak at five matches and leaves them with a 12-4 record.

Coincidentally, St. Andrew's and Westminster Schools of Augusta will both be playing Valwood the next time they take the court. The Wildcats will head out to face the Valiants at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Lions will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
