Basketball Game Preview: West Covina Bulldogs vs. Wilson Wildcats

The West Covina Bulldogs will head out on the road to take on the Wilson Wildcats at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. West Covina will be strutting in after a win while Wilson will be coming in after a loss.

West Covina will bounce into Thursday's game after beating Covina, who they had gone 1-8 against in their nine prior meetings. West Covina took down Covina 41-27 on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Wilson came up short against Rowland on Tuesday and fell 55-46. While losing is never fun, the Wildcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 864th, while the Raiders are ranked 292nd).

West Covina's victory bumped their record up to 9-14. As for Wilson, their defeat was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 7-17.

West Covina came out on top in a nail-biter against Wilson in their previous meeting on January 14th, sneaking past 53-51. The rematch might be a little tougher for West Covina since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
