Softball Recap: Lithia Springs Takes a Loss

Lithia Springs was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They came up short against the South Paulding Spartans, falling 16-0. If the Lions were looking for revenge after losing 11-0 to the Spartans when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Lithia Springs' defeat dropped their record down to 4-10. As for South Paulding, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-9 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: South Paulding beat Lithia Springs by a score of 16-0 later that day.
