Softball Recap: Grove Comes Up Short

Grove lost against Miami on Wednesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Ridgerunners fell just short of the Wardogs by a score of 3-1. The Ridgerunners have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Grove's loss dropped their record down to 9-6. As for Miami, the victory (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 10-3.

Grove wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 9-7 win against Vinita on the 8th. As for Miami, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 1-0 defeat against Oologah on the 8th.
