Basketball Recap: Saint Mary's Skates Past Richmond with Ease

Saint Mary won the last time they faced Richmond and things went their way on Thursday too. The Saint Mary's Panthers breezed by the Richmond Oilers to the tune of 54-18. Given the Panthers' advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 258th, while the Oilers are ranked 1161st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Saint Mary's win bumped their record up to 15-13. As for Richmond, their loss was their ninth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 0-19.

As of now, neither Saint Mary's nor Richmond have any future games scheduled.
