The third road contest was the charm for Blair, as they earned their first away victory of the season. They claimed a resounding 42-7 win over the Whitman Vikings. The high-scoring effort was just what the Blazers needed considering they were shut out in their previous matchup.

Jayden Parker had an outrageously good game as he picked up 114 receiving yards and two scores. Those two receiving touchdowns gave him a new career-high.

The victory was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 2-4. As for Whitman, their loss dropped their record down to 3-3.

Coming up, Blair will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Springbrook at 6:30 p.m. The Blazers will be up against the Blue Devils' rather soft defense (which has allowed 52.67 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Whitman, they will head out on the road to challenge Paint Branch at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. The Panthers will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something the Vikings surely won't give up without a fight.
